VINTAGE RENTALS
VINTAGE RENTALS
We all know the old saying: “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.” Well, let us be your something old and borrowed!
Something Borrowed is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and proudly serves the West Michigan area. We offer a curated selection of vintage items to help make your special day unforgettable. Every item in our collection is hand-picked with love — from mismatched floral china to delicate glassware and candlesticks. Each piece adds a little character and charm to your celebration.
Not wedding related? That's okay! Our rentals bring vintage charm and effortless elegance to your event, regardless of what it is.
Hi! We're Samantha and Prescott. We got married in 2025 and had so much fun collecting unique items for our wedding. While it was a joyful process, it was also incredibly overwhelming trying to find everything we needed. We spent countless hours combing through thrift stores, antique shops, and the endless black hole that is Facebook Marketplace.
But we loved every minute of it—finding the perfect vase and elegant silverware collections, uncovering the most beautiful plate sets and glassware. It all came together to create the perfect aesthetic for our big day.
Each piece we found is so special to us, and we’re not ready to part with them—so we created Something Borrowed. We want to share our treasures with other couples for their own special moments. And not just share—we want to help!
In addition to rentals, we offer day-of coordination services. Samantha will be there to help set up your space, communicate with vendors, and gently keep your nosey aunt out of the bridal suite.

Please note: We book only one event per weekend to ensure each client gets our full attention. On rare occasions, we may book both a Friday and a Sunday event — if that applies to you, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’d love to see what we can do!
